Sometimes, life can feel like it’s moving forward while you’re standing still. Time passes, circumstances change, and the expectations we place on ourselves can become overwhelming. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, take a breath, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers but about having a supportive space where you can better understand yourself, explore what matters to you, and move toward the life you want to create.
My experience working with others has shaped the compassionate and collaborative approach I bring to therapy. I have volunteered with Kids Help Phone and worked as a Youth Support Worker, supporting individuals through a variety of experiences and challenges. Through these roles, I have supported individuals through experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, identity exploration, and periods of crisis. These experiences have taught me the importance of meeting each person with patience, empathy, and genuine curiosity, particularly during the moments when life feels most heavy.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions to help you navigate life’s challenges, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and build meaningful change. However, I recognize that no two people experience life in the same way. Your experiences, goals, and needs are unique, which is why I believe therapy should be tailored to you. I will meet you where you are, work at a pace that feels comfortable, and support you through your journey toward a greater self-understanding, confidence, and well-being.
